I really love this little list. It's so common-sense, but deeply wise! And I enjoy flowers too 😊 my flower arranging tip is to secure the bunch of flowers with a rubberband if they aren't sitting in the vase the way you'd like them too. Sometimes that helps, particularly if the stems aren't straight. 💐
This is really helpful! I have lots of elastic bands in the house for the kids' lunches (when their lunchbox won't close anymore) but have never thought of this!
I edited them again for a trip up to our cabin, taking out the ones that were past their best and rearranging the others. Have you ever taken a class? I'm thinking I'd quite like to!
I just may make a list this weekend! I am so curious as to how you decided on your new novel. I love flowers and when my son moved back home with his cat I had to make some adjustments. Have a good weekend.
Love this list, Ali! Thanks for sharing 🌹🪻🌸🌺🌷🌻🌼 (And I absolutely agree that flowers bring joy to our everyday lives - I am going to buy a bouquet today!)
I love the idea of a Life Changing Book Club! The only one of the recommended books I’ve read is The Hobbit, and I honestly found it a bit precious, like a children’s book written by a philology professor (which, in fact, Tolkien was) who couldn’t help but write an adventure story involving dragons, dwarves, and a hapless hobbit-out-of-water who keeps longing for his pocket handkerchief and comfortable hole! I prefer his adult books, particularly the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Fellowship of the Ring is the best five cents I’ve spent in my life, and I can’t imagine why the previous owner donated it to my elementary school’s fun festival—but this sixth grader thanks him or her immensely and recommends a full roll of Scotch tape to repair the cover again and again and again…

Thanks for all this, Pam. I’m currently reading The Bright Sword by Lev Grossman which you might like better—all the magic but rooted in Arthurian legends. And yes, let’s think about this idea of a Life Changing Bool Club. I’ll figure out an easy way to participate ❤️

I edit my flowers too and love that you've tied this delightful chore with writing. Well done!

A clever analogy!
Thanks!
Beautiful advice thank you, wholeheartedly agree 🌿🦋
Thank you so much 🌸🌸🌸

I should definitely write more about this novel and why I’m writing it. Thanks, Ramona 🌸🌺
